48th Slovenian Foundry Conference

Slovenia hosts a very successful conference with the collaboration of the MEGI countries.

 

Over 260 delegates attended the 48th Slovenian Foundry Conference held in Portoroz on 10-12 September 2008. Some fifteen countries many of which are WFO members, were represented and delegates were given the latest castings statistics from Slovenia, Germany, Finland and Poland.

"Casts in Machine and devices of the future"

On the 10th June a round table conference was held in Poznan Poland in conjunction with the ITM fair. Organised by the Technical Society of Polish Foundrymen, Polish Foundry Research Institute and the Department of Foundry of AGH. (more details)

2nd International Foundry Congress- PAKISTAN

Following the success of the first foundry congress and exhibition held in Lahore Pakistan in December 2006, the event due to be repeated in 2007 has been postponed due to the elections and will now take place in November 2008.  (more details)
